Skills Development
All organisations with a total annual payroll of more than R500 000 are required to pay a Skills Development Levy of 1% of their payroll to their Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
You can claim 50% of this levy back if you do the following:
- Register a Skills Development Facilitator with the relevant SETA.
- Submit a Workplace Skills Plan.
- Submit an Annual Training Report.
